Brice was born in Rennes, France.
At age 29 he is being pushed into the mainstream, renowned for his candid raw imagery.
After graduating from film school in 2003, Brice moved to Paris, starting a career in the film industry.
His first assignment was assistant editor on an animal documentary. Presented by Warner Independent Pictures and National Geographic Feature Films, "March of the Penguins" became a box office hit touching the hearts of audiences around the globe.
Brice Ferre had remained in the film industry for quite a number of years. His time spent in Paris was shared between his film editing and his love of photography.
In 2009 Brice decided to follow his long sought after dream and moved to Canada (Vancouver). His passion for photography soon became an obvious career and he decided to devote all of his time and energy
doing what he loved most. Taking candid photos of people in their everyday lives, without make-up, when they laugh, when they cry. But also working on commercial and editorial photography. (He recently shot the “AIDS - We Care, Red Ribbon Campaign and was hired to photograph some of CBC/Radio Canada news anchors and radio hosts.)
The series you are looking at started in July 2010 and is a work in progress. Brice is still looking for new models to continue this collection. More than 40 models are part of it today.
About this series, Brice states:
“I really love this collection because it allows us to see the amazing beauty of all women. All my models are non professional and some of them were actually posing for the first time ever. These photos are the proof that every woman in the world is gorgeous, and I intend to prove it by photographing them all, starting with Canada and the United-States. This collection gets bigger and bigger everyday and we should reach the 100 models mark pretty soon I guess.”
Brice is now a well established editorial and commercial photographer in Vancouver.
Feel free to contact him if you want to collaborate with him for this series or any other project.
